Municipal taxes 2026

The 2026 annual tax bills were sent on February 4, 2026 by regular mail.

The due dates for each installment in 2026 are:

  • March 6, 2026
  • June 5, 2026
  • September 4, 2026

If you notice an unusual delay in receiving your tax bill, please contact the taxation department by phone at 819-986-9519, extension 200, or by email at administration@mulgrave-derry.ca so that we can confirm the mailing address on file.

How to pay?

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS

SERVICE COUNTER, ONLINE OR ATM

Through the automated services of participating financial institutions. Please note that a delay of five (5) business days may occur before the Municipality receives your payment. Ensure that your 10-digit property roll number is correctly entered in your electronic payment profile.

By Mail

POSTDATED CHEQUE OR MONEY ORDER PAYABLE TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF MULGRAVE-ET-DERRY.

By sending us your cheques along with the detachable remittance stubs. Please ensure payments are received at least five (5) days before the due dates. If you sell your property during the year, please retrieve your postdated cheques from the municipal office.

PAYMENT AT THE MUNICIPAL OFFICE

CASH AND CHEQUE

You may do your payments in person at the Town Hall from Monday to Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., and between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

You may also drop off your cheques along with the detachable remittance stubs in the mail drop box, which is accessible at all times near the Town Hall entrance. We do not recommend leaving cash in this box. To protect your documents from weather conditions, please place them in a resealable plastic bag.

We do not accept credit cards.

MORTGAGE CREDITOR

No tax bill will be sent by the Municipality to your mortgage creditor. The owner (taxpayer) is responsible for sending a copy of their tax bill to their mortgage creditor and ensuring that their file is processed for the payment of their property taxes.

It is important to notify us in writing of any change of mailing address:

If you would like your email address to be added to your file, in case of a postal strike or to receive your tax bill by email, please contact us at the email address above.

New owner

If you are a new property owner, it is possible that the tax bill for your property was sent to the previous owner. This does not in any way exempt you from the obligation to pay your taxes according to the established deadlines. Please note that the Municipality does not issue a new tax bill when there is a change of ownership.
